Season of Change

Winter solistics is almost upon us when the days start to get shorter and the cold dark nights are longer.  Oh, the north wind strikes out and we lose sight of this sense of wonder.  The fallen snow brings slippery roads for travelers and walking on the sidewalks. It's the beauty of winter when we shift our perspective to see and enjoy the beauty of nature and winter again.

It's this season that some of us love as gather around the fire and enjoy the music and spirt of the holidays.

Lunar New Year Holiday

The Lunar New Year is a traditional and important Chinese holiday. It is also know as the Spring Festival and last 15 days. Jesse Tam, this year's holiday begins on Feb 5th. It is also celebrated in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Sinagpore, Indonesian and the Philippines.  The Year of the Pig, Chinese Lunar New Year welcomes new beginnings and letting go of the past. Families gather for reunion dinners the night before.
